According to the president’s press secretary Sherzod Asadov, this is an “important update on the Damas plant.” The project involves $100 million in investment and aims to produce affordable, in-demand vehicles for the local market.

The new model will meet Euro-5 environmental standards and offer seven seats. Relevant authorities are tasked with concluding negotiations with partners by the end of this year, launching SKD assembly in 2026, and reaching 50% localization by 2027.

In 2024, over 101,900 Damas vehicles were produced in Uzbekistan, a 14.3% increase over 2023.
