Google's artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are considered globally leading. According to documents, the company met several specific demands from the Israeli military. These requests focused on optimizing the use of AI in military operations and creating new capabilities for intelligence analysis.

Google Assisted Israeli Armed Forces
In recent weeks, reports about Google supplying AI tools to the Israeli armed forces have drawn public attention. Documents obtained by The Washington Post indicate that Google provided Israel's Ministry of Defense and the Israel Defense Forces with broader access to AI technologies. This process began after Hamas attacks and was extensively utilized during the Israel-Gaza war.

Previously, Google had refrained from signing a contract with the Israeli government due to employee protests. In April, employees from Google, Meta, and Amazon staged a protest outside Google's Manhattan office against supplying AI tools to Israel. However, internal documents reveal that Google directly supported Israel's defense agencies.

AI technologies are mainly applied in the following areas:

Intelligence and data analysis: Gathering and processing information to monitor enemy actions and respond swiftly.

Automated systems: Applying AI in drones and other remotely operated devices.

Accelerating decision-making: Utilizing AI algorithms for military planning and minimizing real-time errors.

It is believed that Google's AI technologies could be applied in these areas.

Google employees continue to oppose providing AI for military purposes, arguing that such cooperation could lead to human rights violations. They believe this policy contradicts the company's ethical principles.
