Government delegation headed by Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov visited Uzbekistan on 14-15 March. This is reported on the Government portal of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As reported, in Tashkent held a meeting of government delegations of the two countries led by Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov.

It was noted that the established friendly and trusting relations between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev are an important factor of strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries, which are rapidly developing in the spirit of friendship, good neighbourliness and mutual respect.

At the meeting, special attention was paid to the importance of fully ensuring the implementation of the agreements reached at the High Level, including the promotion of projects in the spheres of trade, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, water management, energy, cultural and humanitarian fields.

Within the framework of the working visit, the Kazakh government delegation got acquainted with the activities of the Customs Clearance Centre and Technopark in Tashkent.
