HAMAS Ready to Release All Israeli Hostages

The Palestinian group HAMAS has announced its readiness to release all Israeli hostages at once, but under certain conditions, according to Al Jazeera.
During negotiations on the second phase of a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, HAMAS outlined its position:
"We are ready for the second phase. In this phase, the hostages will be released simultaneously. This process will take place as part of a permanent ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of troops from the Gaza Strip," said HAMAS spokesperson Hazem Qassem.
The new proposal from HAMAS comes after U.S. President Donald Trump opposed the gradual release of Israeli hostages in Gaza on a weekly basis. Families of the captives have also called on HAMAS to release them immediately.
On January 15, Israel and HAMAS reached an agreement consisting of three phases, aimed at hostage releases and ceasefire implementation in Gaza. The deal went into effect on January 19.
The first phase lasted 42 days, during which HAMAS was expected to release at least 33 Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails. So far, 19 hostages have already been returned to Israel. Negotiations on the second and third phases are ongoing.
