IDF Eliminates Iranian Minister: Conflict Intensifies
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported the killing of Iran’s Intelligence Minister Ismail Khatib. The announcement was made by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz. According to him, the operation took place on Wednesday night and was aimed at preventing the development of Iran’s nuclear program.

On Tuesday evening, Tehran reported the death of Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council. He was responsible for key negotiations, including nuclear issues. According to the Fars news agency, the official was killed during an airstrike on the capital.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian promised “severe retaliation.” On Wednesday night, Iranian forces carried out a powerful missile strike on Tel Aviv and indicated the possible use of new weapons in the coming days.

The US and Israeli operation against Iran has been ongoing for the third week. The sides have been regularly exchanging strikes, increasing the risk of further escalation. In Tel Aviv, the strikes are described as aimed at preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. Washington has vowed to destroy the country’s military potential and called for a regime change.

Iran, in turn, emphasizes its readiness to defend itself and currently sees no reason to resume negotiations. International observers warn of a high likelihood of further destabilization in the region.
