Starting from March 5, under a new law, Russian police will have the right to enter residential and other premises where migrants under deportation orders reside without permission, as part of state control measures.

Additionally, police officers will be able to request information and documents necessary for state control from Russian state bodies and foreign authorities, including commercial, banking, tax, and other legally protected secrets. They will also have the right to obtain data from banks about the presence of accounts, account numbers, and transactions related to foreign nationals under deportation orders.

From March 5, Interior Ministry employees will also be authorized to monitor foreign nationals under this regime using technical means. This regulation also applies to individuals and legal entities assisting foreigners in staying on Russian territory.

The police are granted the right to use data from mobile devices, geolocation systems, payment systems, and facial recognition systems.
