“Inson Uchun” Festival: When Talent Outweighs the Diagnosis
Uzbekistan
For the first time in Uzbekistan, the Republican Abilympics Championship is taking place—a global movement where individuals with disabilities prove that professionalism knows no physical limits and that their talents are in demand by the real market.
The third annual "Inson Uchun" festival, organized by the National Agency for Social Protection, has evolved into a large-scale inclusive forum. The centerpiece of the event is the country's inaugural Abilympics championship, where participants demonstrate their skills across various professions to potential employers. The program also features job fairs and networking sessions with businesses fostering an inclusive corporate culture.
Shahnoza Mirziyoyeva, First Deputy Director of the Agency, emphasized that the goal is to create an environment where people with disabilities can not only receive support but also fully realize their potential through work. The festival has now shifted from being a mere celebration to serving as an effective bridge between talented professionals and companies ready for collaboration.
