According to data from the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, large enterprises produced 282.4 tons of bed linen in April 2024.
From January to April 2024, these enterprises produced 1,158.8 tons of bed linen, marking a 3.5-fold increase compared to the same period in 2023.
It is worth noting that in 2023, textile and apparel production amounted to $8.2 billion, which is 4.2 times more than seven years ago. Additionally, the industry's export volume reached $3.1 billion last year. This year, the sector has entered three new markets, expanding its export geography to 83 countries.
