Uzbekistan is mainly visited by tourists aged 56 years and older, according to the press service of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Below is the number of foreign citizens who entered Uzbekistan in January-May 2024 for tourism purposes by age:
0-18 years - 426.3 thousand people;
19-30 years old - 405.0 thousand people;
31-55 years - 1,388.2 thousand people;
56 years and older - 617.9 thousand people.
Earlier it was reported that more than 2.8 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in January-May 2024.
