According to The Jordan Times, on September 30, 2025, His Majesty King Abdullah II received Sardor Uktamovich Umurzakov, Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Strategic Development.

The meeting took place in Amman with the participation of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein. Discussions focused on strengthening Jordan-Uzbekistan relations and making use of available opportunities for growth, particularly in the fields of trade, investment, healthcare, education, tourism, and defense. Regional issues, including the situation in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, were also addressed.

The meeting was attended by Prince Ghazi, His Majesty’s Chief Adviser for Religious and Cultural Affairs and Personal Envoy, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi, Director of the Royal Court Alaa Batayneh, and the accompanying Uzbek delegation.

It was also underlined that the implementation of the outcomes of His Majesty’s recent visit to Uzbekistan is of great importance, during which nine agreements and cooperation protocols, as well as three memorandums of understanding, were signed.
