Journalism and Mass Communications University of Uzbekistan Celebrates its 6th Anniversary

A ceremonial event was held today to mark the 6th anniversary of the Journalism and Mass Communications University of Uzbekistan, according to a statement by the press secretary of the head of state, Sherzod Asadov.

Asadov noted that the university, established on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and unique in Central Asia, significantly contributes to the training of professional journalists and has achieved substantial success.
“Congratulating the university staff, faculty, and students on this date, we wish you continued success in improving the quality of education, mastering and implementing the latest industry achievements in the educational process and practice, and in the development of new journalism in the new Uzbekistan,” wrote Sherzod Asadov on his Telegram channel.
The press secretary also expressed confidence that the university’s graduates this academic year will find their place in this field and become professional specialists in the development of Uzbekistan.
