Kim Jong Un Plans to Transform "North Korea into the Best Tourist Zone"

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, along with his daughter, toured the Wonsan-Kalma resort. A paradise beach, water slide park, luxurious hotels, and an airport — all these features aim to make Wonsan-Kalma the "best tourist zone in North Korea."
During the inspection of the new resort, Kim Jong Un and his daughter enjoyed watching missile launches from a testing site located near the hotels.
"Additionally, a pianist performed for Kim and his daughter in an empty hotel. Kim himself settled into a chair in one of the rooms, lit a cigarette, while military commanders and other officials patiently awaited his remarks," writes BILD reporter Peter Tiede with irony.
The opening of this paradise resort is expected this year, six years later than initially planned.
Kim’s travels with his daughter have become routine. Western intelligence agencies speculate that they are likely to co-lead the country in the future, once his daughter completes her education.
