Kim Jong Un Prepares Daughter Kim Ju Ae as Successor
World
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is preparing his daughter, Kim Ju Ae, as a potential successor, reports South Korea's National Intelligence Service (NIS). Despite her young age (around 11), she accompanies her father to all significant events, including missile tests.
On July 29, NIS presented a report on the situation in North Korea to the parliamentary intelligence committee in a closed session. Two lawmakers then held a press conference, partially revealing the report's contents.
According to NIS, Kim Ju Ae is being considered as her father's successor due to the frequency of her public appearances and the way she is addressed.
NIS data shows that approximately 60% of her public activities involve accompanying her father to military and economic events.
Intelligence analysts also note the use of the term "hyangdo" in reference to her, which translates to "guide," but in North Korea, it signifies leaders or their successors.
