Measures Will Be Taken Against "Strict" Parents
Uzbekistan
Protecting children from violence is the responsibility of every parent!
According to new legislation, to protect children from all forms of violence, parents (or their substitutes) are required to take the following measures:
Safeguarding the life and health of children;
Providing care and affection to ensure the child’s full and comprehensive development;
Protecting children from harmful information — it is important to shield them from inappropriate materials on the internet and other sources;
Physical punishment is prohibited — there is no place for violence in child upbringing.
Parents are not only responsible for providing necessary upbringing and education but must also actively protect their children from psychological and physical risks.
