The Government Resigned

In accordance with the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on November 19, the current Government has relinquished its powers before the newly elected Supreme Assembly.
As per the parliamentary elections held on October 27, the chambers of the Supreme Assembly have been restructured with a new composition.
Article 116 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Article 7 of the Law on the "Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan" stipulate that the Cabinet of Ministers must relinquish its powers before the Supreme Assembly.
Therefore, based on the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on November 19, the current Government has relinquished its powers before the newly elected Supreme Assembly.
In turn, based on the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the current Cabinet of Ministers will continue its activities until the new composition of the Cabinet is formed, ensuring continuity and consistency in the government's operations.
