Media: Slovak Prime Minister Fico recovers and will soon return to work

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico's health is improving after the assassination attempt and he will soon return to his duties, Pravda.sk wrote, citing the country's Defense Minister Robert Kaliniak.
The newspaper reported that Fico was nearing a full recovery and would soon take up his duties.
Kaliniak, however, says that after suffering several gunshot wounds, Fico still has some musculoskeletal problems, but this will not prevent him from appearing in public.
Fico has repeatedly opposed arms supplies to Ukraine and its membership in NATO, and on 15 May an attacker fired five shots at him. The shooter was detained and Fico was hospitalised, from where he was discharged at the end of May.
The Interior Ministry claims that the shooter was motivated solely by political motives. He now faces a life sentence. Investigators are still working to check whether the attacker had accomplices.
