Warehouses for storage of mineral fertilisers will be created in 70 districts of Uzbekistan. This was announced by Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a video conference call on utilisation of new reserves and priority tasks in agriculture for 2024.

The importance of daily monitoring of fertiliser stocks in warehouses and immediate delivery of missing quantities was stressed.

For this purpose, an instruction was given to increase the daily volume of mineral fertilisers from 6 to 9 thousand tonnes in February-April.

The task was also set to provide agriculture with 900 thousand tonnes of mineral fertilisers, reducing the cost of fertilisers by 15%.
