Modern electrical products are manufactured in Akhangaran
Uzbekistan
During his visit to the Akhangaran district, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev also inspected the operations of Premier, a company specializing in the production of household appliances.
In recent years, our country has provided comprehensive support for the development of the electrical industry. This has expanded opportunities for attracting foreign direct investment and modern technologies, deep processing of local raw materials, and the production of import-substituting, high-value-added products that are competitive in export markets.
Specifically, this project in Akhangaran is being implemented jointly with Fajr Al Mustaqbal General Trading on an area of 10 hectares, with a total cost of $30 million.
This initiative will create 250 new jobs, and exports will total $4 million. Construction is currently 95 percent complete, with $11.3 million in investment already utilized.
The products manufactured at this facility will be exported to countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Afghanistan.
Currently, there are only two similar facilities in Uzbekistan and four in Central Asia. This project will rank second among them in terms of production volume.
After the facility reaches full capacity, it is expected to produce import-substituting products worth $87 million.
The head of state inspected the production process and product quality at the facility and spoke with specialists and workers.
The facility's development program for 2026-2027 was also presented. An exhibition of electrical products manufactured by domestic companies was also organized.
