NMMC and Uzbat lead the top 20 taxpayers in Uzbekistan

A list of the 20 largest taxpayers in Uzbekistan based on the results of the first half of 2024 has been published.
State-owned companies dominate:
Almost half of all taxes paid (25.7 trillion soums) are accounted for by the 10 largest taxpayers with a state share.
NMMC (Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine) is a confident leader, having paid 11.4 trillion soums to the budget.
Next come AGMK (Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine) with 3.9 trillion soums, Uzgastrade (Uzbek State Gas Trading Company) with 2.1 trillion soums and Hududgazta'minot (National Joint Stock Holding Company "Hududgaztaminot") with 2 trillion soums.
The private sector contributes:
The leader among them was the Uzbat company with 1.3 trillion soums.
The top ten also included Enter Engineering, the banks Kapitalbank and Hamkorbank, as well as the companies Unitel and ADM Jizzakh.
