“No Kings”: Millions Protest Across the US
On March 28, large-scale protests were held across the United States against President Donald Trump’s policies. This marks the third “No Kings” protest, following earlier demonstrations in June and October 2025.

According to organizers, more than eight million people participated. Protesters voiced opposition to stricter immigration policies, the war with Iran, rising living costs, and what they described as authoritarian tendencies within the administration.

Demonstrations took place in major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Minneapolis, as well as in suburban and rural areas, including Republican-led states. Solidarity protests were also held internationally in Italy, France, Germany, and Spain.

Particular attention was drawn to protests in Minnesota, where the earlier deaths of two US citizens during a federal immigration operation sparked nationwide outrage and contributed to the протест movement.

Participants carried signs and symbolic figures of government officials, calling for their resignation. Prominent cultural figures and Democratic politicians joined rallies in several cities.

Organizers and law enforcement stated that the protests were largely peaceful. However, in Los Angeles, 75 people were detained for refusing to disperse.

The White House criticized the demonstrations, calling them an expression of political obsession, while Donald Trump had not commented on the protests at the time of publication.
