Nodirbek Abdusattorov to take part in Tata Steel Chess 2024 super tournament

Uzbek grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattorov will take part in the prestigious Tata Steel Chess tournament in Wijk aan Zee, the Netherlands. The competition will be held from 12 to 28 January.
The Tata Steel Chess Tournament, also known as Wijk aan Zee, is one of the oldest and most prestigious chess tournaments and will be held for the 86th time. This tournament has been organised since 1937 and in its history all world champions except Vasily Smyslov and Robert Fischer have participated in it.
Last year, Nodirbek Abdusattorov finished second at the Tata Steel Chess tournament, defeating then champion Magnus Carlsen but losing to outsider Jorden van Forest.
