Official Welcoming Ceremony for the President of Uzbekistan Held in Malaysia

On February 5, an official welcoming ceremony for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, took place at the "Perdana Putra" government complex in Kuala Lumpur.
The Head of State was received by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim. In honor of the distinguished guest, a guard of honor was lined up, and the national anthems of both countries were played.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev passed in front of the guard of honor, after which the leaders of the two countries greeted members of the official delegations and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
Following the official part of the ceremony, the leaders of Uzbekistan and Malaysia took a joint photograph, after which high-level negotiations commenced.
During this meeting, discussions are expected to focus on further developing cooperation between the two countries and strengthening ties in trade, economy, investment, culture, and education.
