According to OpenAI, ChatGPT Atlas redefines how users interact with the internet — turning passive browsing into an intelligent workflow. The AI can summarize and interpret web pages, fill out online forms, book hotels, and order food — all on command.

The browser also integrates productivity features, enabling ChatGPT to read and manage emails, work with spreadsheets and documents, and generate reports or summaries automatically.

Its standout capability is the Agent Mode, which allows ChatGPT to act autonomously — handling multi-step tasks, executing user requests, and automating repetitive processes without direct supervision.

Experts suggest that Atlas marks the beginning of a new era of AI browsers, where artificial intelligence becomes the primary interface between people and the web.
