Based on the state program draft planned for 2025, the possibility of opening a general consulate in Canada is being considered. Additionally, there are plans to strengthen ties with Brazil, Argentina, and other countries in the Americas.

Previously, diplomatic relations between Canada and Uzbekistan were conducted through the embassy in Moscow, but in 2024, this process was moved to the city of Astana. Alan Hemson is Canada's Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. Furkat Sidikov is Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Brazil, and Canada.

Furthermore, the next round of political consultations with Canada, Brazil, and Cuba is planned.

Among other proposals, there are plans to implement joint projects by attracting potential companies from Brazil, Canada, Argentina, and other leading countries to Uzbekistan and organizing various economic activities.

Additionally, there are discussions on expanding cooperation in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors with Cuba.

The project also suggests establishing cooperation and exchanging experience with relevant ministries and government agencies in Latin American countries with developed agriculture.

According to the draft of the state program, there are plans to ensure the participation of representatives from the culture and sports sectors in various events and festivals held in Uzbekistan and Latin American countries to develop bilateral relations in the fields of culture and sports.

All of these tasks are proposed to be implemented by the end of 2025.
