Ozodbek Nazarbekov Awarded the Title of "People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic"

On December 13, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, was awarded the honorary title of "People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic" by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadir Japarov. This award was given for his significant contribution to the development of cultural relations between the two countries and the strengthening of friendship.
Kyrgyz President Sadir Japarov, recognizing Ozodbek Nazarbekov's contribution to strengthening cultural friendship between the countries, emphasized that his creative path has inspired many. He also expressed confidence that the Cultural Days of Uzbekistan, to be held in Kyrgyzstan in 2025, will be an important event in further bringing the two peoples closer.
Ozodbek Nazarbekov, in turn, expressed his sincere gratitude to the President of Kyrgyzstan for the honor and the award, emphasizing his commitment to strengthening the brotherly relations between the two countries. He also expressed his pleasure at the events being held in Uzbekistan to mark the 100th anniversary of the great Kyrgyz writer and cultural figure, Chinghiz Aitmatov.
Currently, Ozodbek Nazarbekov and leading theater figures from Kyrgyzstan are actively working on a joint theater project aimed at developing creative cooperation between the two peoples.
