Practical aspects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union have been discussed

Tanziila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, held a meeting with Erica Gerretsen, Director of the Directorate for Human Development, Migration, Governance, and Peace of the Directorate-General for International Partnerships of the European Commission.
The parties discussed the deepening of cooperation in such areas as the Human Development Index, the implementation of the Comprehensive Development Framework, and the organization of safe labour migration.
Alongside the development of these important areas, there was also an exchange of views on sharing practices and experiences regarding social inclusivity and economic stability, effective collaboration in the fields of education, healthcare, and poverty alleviation.
Attention was focused on the activation of work conducted by the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the European Union within the framework of the global program "Inter Pares" aimed at strengthening parliamentarism.
