A solemn ceremony of presenting credentials to Alexander Lukashenko took place in Minsk.

President of Belarus receives credentials of the Ambassador of Uzbekistan
15 February, President of Belarus received credentials of ambassadors of eight foreign countries, including Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the President of Belarus.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Rakhmatulla Nazarov presented credentials at the ceremony.

Alexander Lukashenko emphasised the importance of comprehensive ties with Uzbekistan for Belarus, viewing the country as a strategic partner in Central Asia. He expressed gratitude to Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the warm welcome and constructive dialogue, which, according to him, will lead to the implementation of new projects and strengthening of regional ties.

The President expressed confidence that the ambassador, who is well acquainted with Belarus and has experience of working in the country, will actively participate in the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level, using his knowledge and experience to strengthen bilateral relations.
