President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has returned to Tashkent

The schedule of events for the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Tajikistan has concluded. This was reported by the press service of the head of Uzbekistan.

Yesterday, negotiations took place between the head of Uzbekistan and President Emomali Rahmon in both a narrow and an expanded format. As a result, the heads of state signed a Treaty on Allied Relations, marking a new historical milestone in bilateral relations.

A ceremony was held to award a group of cultural and arts figures from both countries, who were conferred high honorary titles by presidential decrees. The leaders together attended a joint concert titled "Evening of Friendship."

Today, Shavkat Mirziyoyev held meetings with the Chairman of the lower house of the Parliament of Tajikistan, Mahamadtoir Zokirzoda, and Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda.

The heads of state formally inaugurated the new building of our country's embassy in Dushanbe and also visited an exhibition of industrial goods from Uzbekistan.

At the international airport in Dushanbe, President Emomali Rahmon saw off the head of Uzbekistan. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has returned to Tashkent.
