Presidential Administration Sets New Standards for the Supreme Court

The establishment of an institutional architecture of justice capable of operating seamlessly regardless of personnel rotations and providing reliable legal protection for state reforms has been declared the baseline priority for upgrading the republic's judiciary. The newly appointed Chairwoman of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan, Robakhon Makhmudova, was officially introduced to the judicial community and the leadership of law enforcement agencies. The event was attended by the Head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, who directed the audience's attention toward strategic milestones for eradicating corruption and lawlessness in direct response to the public's primary demand for justice.
During the introduction, the necessity of deeply integrating cutting-edge international experience into domestic judicial practice was underscored. In this context, Saida Mirziyoyeva highlighted the launching of a specialized court based on English law within the Tashkent International Financial Center as a benchmark for adopting global best practices. The Head of the Presidential Administration emphasized that the judicial branch must function systematically and efficiently, independent of specific figures, while every judge is obligated to wear their robe with honor and dignity. Concluding the official ceremony, Robakhon Makhmudova was wished a firm political will in making wise and just decisions.
