Presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan held a meeting with business representatives

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a joint meeting with the business circles of the two countries.
The event was attended by the heads and representatives of leading Azerbaijani companies PASHA Holding, SOCAR, SOFAZ, Agalarov Development, Silk Way Group, Matanat, Sarda Group, AzerGold, Azermash, Azerbaijan Investment Holding, Azerbaijan Railways, Alat Free Economic Zone and others.
The head of our state sincerely greeted the heads of the leading companies, especially noting their important role in expanding the trade and economic partnership between our countries.
“You are the driving force of the economy, boldly introducing innovations, creating enterprises and jobs,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, the leaders took part in the launch ceremony of cooperation projects.
Among them are the construction of a hotel and residential complexes in Tashkent, the production of building materials in the Kashkadarya region, the creation of textile clusters, a garment factory and other projects in Azerbaijan.
Having launched these projects, the Presidents expressed confidence that they will serve to increase the volume of mutual trade turnover, create modern production facilities and new jobs.
