Private airport to be built in Akhangaran

An aerodrome will be built in Akhangaran district of Tashkent region jointly with China. This is reported by the press service of the Administration of Tashkent region.
At the Uzbek-Chinese business forum in Shenzhen an agreement was reached on the construction of a private aerodrome in Akhangaran district.
The airport will be implemented with 100% participation of Chinese capital on the territory of Yangi Khayot mahalla. The construction of this private airport, the only one in Central Asia, is planned to start in the second half of this year. The cost of the project is estimated at $380 million.
