Putin among contenders for Time magazine's 'Person of the Year' honour

The US magazine TIME has included Russian President Vladimir Putin in the list of contenders for the title "Person of the Year". This is reported on the website of the publication.
Preparations are underway for the announcement of the "Person of the Year 2023" according to TIME - the annual choice of a person, group or concept that has had the greatest impact on the world over the past 12 months.
The magazine included the president of Russia on the list.
The list also includes the head of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, King Charles III of Great Britain, prosecutors who brought charges against former U.S. President Donald Trump, Chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve Jerome Powell, Hollywood actors and screenwriters involved in the strike, American singer Taylor Swift, OpenAI leader Sam Altman and Barbie.
It is noted that in 2007, TIME magazine declared Putin "Person of the Year".
