Quality of Medical Services to Improve in the Aral Sea Region

A Presidential decree on "Measures for the Implementation of the Project 'Improving the Quality of Medical Services in the Aral Sea Region' with the Participation of KfW Bank (Federal Republic of Germany)" has been adopted.
According to the decree, the following were approved under the "Improving the Quality of Medical Services in the Aral Sea Region" project:
the main technical and economic indicators of the project;
the forecast schedule for repaying KfW Bank loans, including additional fees and interest payments;
the distribution of medical equipment to healthcare institutions in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region;
the allocation of specialized vehicles across the regions.
The Ministry of Health is designated as the responsible executive body for the timely implementation of the project, coordination, and efficient use of grants.
The state institution "Procurement Center" under the Ministry of Health will act as the consignee counterparty for contracts concluded within the framework of the project.
The Ministry of Justice will provide legal opinions on loan and grant agreements signed between Uzbekistan and KfW Bank.
