President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the proposals to ensure employment in the Bukhara region. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

It is noted that at present there are more than 1 million able-bodied people in the Bukhara region, of which 76 thousand are unemployed. About 37,000 young people enter the labor market every year. Given all this, the goal is to make the Bukhara region a fully occupied territory in 2023-2025.

"There are enough opportunities for this. For example, cotton-textile and grain clusters. There are 11 such organizations in Bukhara that plan to create 94,000 jobs in industry and agriculture, including 19,000 through the development of households," the report says. .
We add that it is planned to create 57 micro-centers in the areas of industry, crafts, household, livestock, trade and services in mahallas, and small sewing workshops in 98 areas with high unemployment.

There is also an opportunity to reuse 15,000 hectares of arable land this year. These lands are provided to the population on the basis of an open electronic competition for the creation of new peasant farms. Proposals were also made to put state assets up for auction and increase jobs on their basis.

"In general, as a result of these measures, 250 thousand jobs will be created this year, and in 2023-2025 the Bukhara region will become a fully occupied territory. The presentation also provided information on the project to create an IT cluster in the Karakul region together with India ”, the message says.

The head of state approved these proposals and gave additional instructions.
