The project was presented during the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Turkestan by Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Development Jaslan Madiev.

The participating countries have divided responsibilities under a cooperation model. Kazakh specialists are handling the satellite’s design and overall assembly at a testing and integration facility in Astana. Uzbekistan is developing the propulsion system, while Turkey is providing solar panels and software solutions. Azerbaijan is also participating in the initiative.

According to Jaslan Madiev, the project has become the first real technological integration platform among Turkic nations. He noted that the launch will demonstrate the ability of regional countries to jointly implement complex scientific and engineering projects.

The initiative has already moved from the design stage to actual hardware assembly. At the same time, participating states are finalizing legal and organizational procedures through the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States.
