Robert Kennedy Suspends Campaign, Backs Trump
During a press conference in Phoenix on August 23, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. declared the suspension of his independent presidential campaign, stating that he would instead support Donald Trump in the November election. Kennedy acknowledged that this decision has caused tension within his family.

Kennedy explained that his decision to back Trump came after realizing that his continued presence in the race could inadvertently benefit the Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris. He emphasized that he no longer believes he has a viable path to victory due to persistent media censorship.

Kennedy announced his intention to remove his name from the ballots in key swing states like Arizona and Pennsylvania, following discussions with Trump. He urged his supporters to continue backing him in other states but confirmed that he would now throw his support behind Trump.

Five members of the Kennedy family released a statement expressing disappointment with Robert’s decision, reaffirming their support for Kamala Harris. In response, Donald Trump, speaking at a rally in Las Vegas, said he was "deeply honored" to receive Kennedy’s endorsement.
