Substantial package of agreements signed to expand comprehensive Uzbek-Mongolian cooperation

Following the fruitful negotiations between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, a ceremony of signing bilateral documents was held on 24 June 2024. This was stated in the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.
The heads of state signed a Joint Statement on interstate relations and cooperation. In total, during the state visit, 14 documents were signed, including:
• Intergovernmental Program on Trade, Economic, and Investment Cooperation for 2024-2026;
• Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in Tourism;
• Intergovernmental Agreement on Air Communication;
• Intergovernmental Agreement on International Road Transport;
• Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2024-2025;
• Protocol on Cooperation between the Secretariats of the Security Councils;
• Agreement on Cooperation between the Ministries of Agriculture;
• Agreement on Cooperation in Veterinary and Livestock Sectors;
• Agreement on Scientific Cooperation between the Academies of Sciences;
• Protocol on Cooperation between National News Agencies;
• Protocol on Cooperation between Trade and Industry Chambers;
• Protocol on Establishing a Joint Business Council;
• Agreement on Cooperation between the Administrations of Tashkent and Ulaanbaatar cities.
