Taliban asked countries to invest in Afghanistan's mines

Earlier, Taliban officials said that the right to invest in Afghanistan's mining industry would initially be given to neighbouring countries.
Taliban Minister of Mines and Petroleum Shahabuddin Delawar called on foreign countries to invest in Afghanistan's mining industry.
Specifically, Delawar said, "Under Taliban control, more investment opportunities have been created in Afghanistan than ever before, and foreign countries can invest in Afghanistan's mining industry in unlimited amounts."
Earlier, Shahabuddin Delawar addressed the press at the signing ceremony of the mining and processing contract for seven major mines and said that there is full transparency in the mining contracts, illegal mining and smuggling have been prevented.
Specifically, Delawar said, "Under Taliban control, more investment opportunities have been created in Afghanistan than ever before, and foreign countries can invest in Afghanistan's mining industry in unlimited amounts."
