An electric vehicle designed for waste removal has been brought to Uzbekistan. The electric car was imported from China by Eco House waste cluster. This was reported in the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change.

"Today, the country is adopting new technologies in the field of environment, particularly in the field of waste management. The electric car imported in partnership with the Chinese company Chengdu Shiny Technology Co Ltd. is important primarily because it does not emit toxic emissions into the atmosphere and does not harm the environment," Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov said.

The electric car will first be tested in Jizzakh Province. It is worth noting that it is also designed to drive on narrow streets.

"The vehicle covers a distance of 300 kilometres at full power. It allows removing waste from settlements during the day and transporting it to special landfills. It can also easily carry up to 3 tonnes of cargo," said Jakhongir Khudoyberdiyev, head of the waste cluster at Eso House.
