The first Uzbek restaurant will open in Mecca on 28 November. A cook, baker and other staff will be recruited from Uzbekistan.
The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Jeddah met with a compatriot doing business in Saudi Arabia. This is reported by Dunyo news agency.
It is noted that during the dialogue, detailed information was given about the reforms implemented in the socio-economic sphere in Uzbekistan, strengthening ties with compatriots living abroad, as well as the ongoing work to increase the attractiveness of the investment and tourism environment.
"I have been involved in the restaurant business abroad for many years. Considering the need for Uzbek national dishes in Mecca, we are opening a new restaurant in the central part of this city. We have named this restaurant 'Uzbekistan'," our compatriot said.
It was decided to attract a chef, baker and other staff from Uzbekistan to the new restaurant. The official opening ceremony of the first Uzbek national cuisine restaurant in Mecca will be held November 28.
