The Germany – Central Asia Cooperation Forum was held in Berlin

The forum, organized by the "West-östliche Begegnungen" foundation, brought together representatives from the civil society, non-governmental organizations, and associations of Germany and Central Asian countries, including a delegation led by the President of the National Association of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations of Uzbekistan.
The main topics of the forum were women's education, youth, the environment, health, culture, and social issues. Within the scientific session, there were general plenary and breakout meetings, as well as panel discussions where sector representatives exchanged ideas, ongoing projects, and shared knowledge and experiences on the above-mentioned topics.
At the forum, participants from Uzbekistan presented reports on the ongoing systematic reforms aimed at developing civil society and their outcomes. Presentations were made on projects related to women's vocational training and employment, inclusive IT education, charitable activities in the social sector, and ensuring access to clean drinking water.
During the three-day forum, Uzbekistan’s representatives had the opportunity to meet new partners, strengthen existing collaborations, and gather information on establishing societal communication between Germany and Central Asia.
