In recent years, special attention has been paid to modernizing the plant and expanding its production capacity. As a result, the company's net profit increased from $14 million in 2017 to $23 million in 2025.

The foundation stone for the casting and rolling complex was laid by the head of state during his visit to Bekabad on August 29, 2018.

The total cost of the project is $839 million. This strategically important complex, built on an 18-hectare site, is designed to meet the country's growing demand for metal products.

The plan is to increase total production to 2 million tons, produce an additional 1.04 million tons of sheet metal coils, and increase the plant's workforce to 7,000.

Based on the experience of the Italian company Danieli, the complex's continuous steel casting system is integrated with all process equipment for the first time and is controlled by a single control panel.

Under the previous technology, processes had to be controlled from 4-5 control panels, each staffed by nine employees. Now, thanks to the unified control system, only three specialists oversee the process.

The President of our country emphasized the need to integrate artificial intelligence technologies into the unified control system and further improve the stability and economic efficiency of the complex.

In terms of safety and equipment speed, this complex is unique and unparalleled in Central Asia. Specifically, it can replace main rolls automatically, without interrupting the production process or requiring human intervention, in just 5-7 minutes, compared to the previous 30-40 minutes.

The President also viewed samples of products made from sheet metal.

The meeting also heard reports from responsible officials. Specifically, a report was given on the value chain for hot-rolled sheet metal production, a product recommended for development in the republic.

Furthermore, practical measures were explained to regulate the circulation of reinforcement products in the construction industry, strengthen oversight of the use of ferrous rolled metal at construction sites, and reduce seismic risks.
