The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, on April 24, received the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Chile, Eduardo Escobar. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

"Received the credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Chile to Uzbekistan H.E Eduardo Escobar. During the meeting, underscored the importance of boosting our relations, facilitating business-to-business ties, and establishing new formats of cooperation, including inter-parliamentary dialogue, joint trade commissions, and more," wrote the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan in his Telegram channel.

It should be reminded that Uzbekistan and Chile established diplomatic relations on September 15, 1994.
