On October 14, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Russia Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation to discuss key issues on the bilateral agenda.
The leaders reviewed the implementation of high-level agreements and emphasized the importance of deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries.
Special attention was given to maintaining positive dynamics in trade, economic and investment cooperation, and advancing regional joint projects.
Both sides also noted the growing humanitarian ties — particularly in culture, arts, and education, including engineering training programs.
