The Nationwide Movement “One Million Green Families” is Launched

In 2025, large-scale initiatives will be implemented to improve public health, promote an ecological lifestyle, and create conditions for realizing human potential. One of these initiatives is the nationwide movement "One Million Green Families", aimed at promoting the “Eco-active Citizen” lifestyle.
The movement’s goal is to educate citizens who are environmentally conscious, care about nature, and contribute to the creation of sustainable living conditions.
Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year:
The Central Asian University for Environmental and Climate Studies will be designated as a leading higher education institution in the fields of ecology, environmental protection, and climate change;
At least one general education school meeting inclusive education requirements will be established step by step in every district (city) of the republic;
As part of the "From Poverty to Prosperity" program, 3,500 children from low-income families will receive preparatory training and be admitted to higher education institutions on a grant basis.
In addition to ensuring environmental sustainability, significant measures will also be taken to improve public health:
By March 1, 2025, a program will be developed to promote proper nutrition, physical activity, and sports for better health;
By August 1, 2025, an interdepartmental national information platform will be established to identify, assess, manage, and monitor risks in food security.
