The Center of Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with a Russian film studio, has begun filming a documentary series titled "Uzbekistan on the Path to Victory." This was announced by the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok, Yusup Kabuljanov.
According to director Alexey Kiselev, the project will consist of five short films, each reflecting Uzbekistan's contribution to the overall Victory: the evacuation of civilians, the heroism of Uzbek soldiers at the front, the support of the home front, and the role of the Tashkent Film Studio, which operated during the war.
Well-known actor Rustam Sagdullayev participates in the creation of the film. According to the authors, the project's goal is to pass on to future generations the most important pages of history and to remind them of the humanitarian, economic, and human assistance provided by the republic during the difficult years.
The film will become not only a tribute to memory, but also a means of strengthening the friendship between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Russia, based on the common history of the fight against fascism.
