The President attended the Namangan International Flower Festival

During his visit to Namangan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the traditional flower festival.
Thanks to the festival's extension from three days in 2018 to 40 days in 2025, the number of foreign tourists increased from 25,000 to 800,000, while the number of domestic tourists reached 6.4 million.
The next goal is to attract one million foreign tourists from more than 50 countries and seven million domestic tourists, hold over 150 events, and increase the volume of services to 8 trillion soums.
The 65th International Flower Festival, which began on May 24 and runs until July 12, is also taking place in a particularly festive atmosphere.
The festival has been officially listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. During the month-long event, Guinness World Records representatives observed the hand-planting of over 29 million flower seedlings by residents of Namangan. A world record was subsequently set.
Forty-five mahallas in Namangan specialize in floriculture, reaching 16,000 households and providing employment to 21,000 people. In March and April, 4,683 greenhouses were established in these households' gardens, and 120 million flower bulbs were grown. As a result, the population received an additional income of 300 billion soums.
During the festival, the head of state reviewed the created floral arrangements, thematic areas, and exhibitions, and greeted residents engaged in floriculture, entrepreneurs, festival participants, and guests.
