On September 18, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the Russian Federation consisting of Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Saveliev, Advisor to the President of Russia Igor Levitin and Chairman of the Board of the Russian Railways company Oleg Belozerov.
At the beginning of the meeting, the members of the Russian delegation conveyed to the head of our state the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The issues of practical implementation of the agreements reached during the summit meetings in Tashkent on May 26-28 this year were considered.
Special attention was paid to the adoption of coordinated measures to develop efficient transport corridors in the region.
The importance of accelerating industrial cooperation projects in transport, further expanding partnerships in the field of road, rail and aviation communications, as well as training highly qualified engineering personnel was noted.
