The President of Uzbekistan reviewed Pakistan's military-industrial potential

Upon arrival in Islamabad, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the headquarters of Global Industrial and Defense Solutions, where he met with Field Marshal Asim Munir, Commander-in-Chief of the Pakistan Defense Forces and Chief of the Pakistan Army.
Key aspects of the further development of Uzbek-Pakistani multifaceted cooperation and strategic partnership were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation in the military and military-technical spheres, as well as coordinating efforts to counter modern security challenges and threats.
The importance of intensifying cooperation between leading defense industry enterprises of the two countries, expanding military specialist training programs, sharing expertise, and conducting joint training events was emphasized.
Accordingly, the acceleration of promising infrastructure projects in the transport and logistics sector was discussed.
An agreement was reached to develop a separate roadmap for the development of military and military-technical cooperation.
Following the meeting, the President of Uzbekistan was introduced to the developments of Global Industrial and Defense Solutions, including samples of modern Pakistani military equipment and weapons.
