The President of Uzbekistan will make an official visit to Turkiye

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will pay an official visit to this country on June 6.
The program of stay provides for the holding of the third meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council in Ankara, chaired by the leaders of the two states.
The agenda of the summit includes issues of further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Turkish relations of a comprehensive strategic partnership.
Particular attention will be paid to expanding practical interaction, primarily increasing trade turnover, promoting cooperation projects in industry, green energy, electrical engineering, textiles, pharmaceutical industries, the agricultural sector and other areas, including within the framework of the public-private partnership program.
Issues of continuing active cultural and humanitarian exchange will be considered. There will be an exchange of views on current aspects of international politics.
As a result of the high-level negotiations, it is planned to adopt a number of bilateral documents.
In addition, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkiye will hold the first joint meeting with the heads of leading enterprises and companies of the two countries.
